Posterior Knee Orthosis: Instructions
1. Choose correct Tibial Ankle Foot Orthosis size (see TAFO Sizing Guidelines).
2. Unhook strap buckle and lift top edge of liner to expose top 2 rows of holes.
3. Remove the lock nuts from the screws on the distal PKO.
4. Position the distal PKO to align the screw mounting strip over the numbered holes on the TAFO.
5. Insert the screws and finger tighten a lock nut onto each screw.
6. Use enclosed wrench-screwdriver tools to hold screws while firmly tightening lock nuts.
7. Bring top edge of TAFO liner over bottom edge of PKO liner.
8. Place on patient.
